Community Guidelines
Effective: July 10, 2026
Cammy is built for collaborative photo and video sharing. These Community Guidelines explain the behavior and content standards we expect from users across collaborative events, shared event media, profiles, Edits, and other areas of the product.
1. Use Cammy Responsibly
You should only upload, share, edit, or export content you have the right to use. Treat other people respectfully, use collaborative event spaces as intended, and report content or behavior that appears unlawful, abusive, unsafe, or clearly inconsistent with these Guidelines.
2. Age Suitability
Cammy is intended for users who meet the minimum age required in their region. Cammy is not intended for children under 13. In some regions, higher digital-consent ages apply. Users who do not meet the applicable minimum age are blocked from creating an account until compliant parental-consent tooling is available.
Because Cammy includes shared photos, videos, group albums, user-generated content, and social collaboration features, you should only join shared spaces with people you trust. Cammy provides reporting, blocking, account deletion, host moderation, and community enforcement tools to help keep shared spaces safer.
3. What Is Not Allowed
Cammy has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior. The following are prohibited on Cammy:
• illegal activity or content that promotes, facilitates, or instructs others to commit illegal acts;
• harassment, bullying, stalking, threats, intimidation, hate speech, or content targeting people based on protected characteristics;
• sexually exploitative content, non-consensual intimate imagery, child sexual abuse material, or other pornographic or explicit content we do not allow on the platform;
• sexual extortion, grooming, or any attempt to exploit, solicit, or endanger a minor;
• graphic violence, glorification of serious harm, or content intended to shock, terrorize, or celebrate abuse;
• content that promotes suicide, self-harm, eating-disorder encouragement, or other serious physical harm;
• copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights violations, including uploading or sharing content without required permissions or consent;
• doxxing, posting another person's private personal information, or capturing or sharing private imagery or recordings without required consent;
• materially deceptive or manipulated content used to defraud, impersonate, harass, or mislead others about real people or events;
• impersonation, fraud, scams, phishing, spam, malware, or attempts to manipulate or abuse the service or other users;
• attempts to bypass event access controls, access other users' content without authorization, or interfere with collaborative spaces, moderation tools, or platform security;
• attempts to evade moderation, suspension, event blocks, or account enforcement by creating replacement accounts or using Cammy through others.
4. Collaboration, Profiles, and Sharing
If you contribute content to a shared event, other permitted participants may be able to view and use that shared event media within the event experience. Hosts and co-hosts may also have tools to remove shared event media or block participants as part of event administration. If you keep a public profile and pin completed Edits, those pinned Edits may be visible to others. Once content has been viewed, exported, downloaded, copied, re-shared, or incorporated into another user's content or creation, Cammy may not be able to retrieve, control, or delete every copy.
5. Enforcement
We may remove content, limit visibility, disable features, block participation in events, suspend or terminate accounts, preserve evidence, or report matters to law enforcement or other authorities when appropriate. Cammy may enforce these Guidelines with or without prior notice.
If you believe we took action on your content or account by mistake, you may contact us and request review. We may, but are not obligated to, reconsider enforcement decisions or restore content, features, or access.
6. How We Respond to Reports
We review every report of content or user behavior that may violate these Guidelines. We aim to acknowledge reports within 24 hours and take action within 48 hours when a violation is confirmed.
Possible actions include removing the reported content, hiding it from your feed, blocking the reported user from appearing on public surfaces, suspending the user's account, or terminating the account. For urgent safety concerns — including content involving minors or credible threats — we may act immediately and contact law enforcement.
7. Your Tools
You have the following tools to keep your experience safe:
• Report a profile, Edit, video, photo, or user from within the app using the "•••" menu on that item. Reports go to our moderation queue.
• Block any user to stop them from seeing your public profile and Edits, and to stop seeing theirs. Manage your block list in Settings > Blocked Users.
• Event moderation: if you host an event, you can kick and block participants from that event and remove their shared content.
8. Reporting Outside the App
For issues you cannot resolve with in-app tools, or to escalate urgent matters, contact us using the details below. Copyright complaints should be sent using the DMCA Policy.
