Every wedding generates hundreds of photos and videos on guests' phones. These are the ten best ways to actually get them — compared honestly, including when each one beats the others.

BEST FOR: a pure web gallery, no app anywhere
A polished QR gallery built for weddings: guests upload from their browser, hosts get a tidy gallery and slideshow tools. Sold as per-event packages. If you want zero apps in the flow and you're happy paying for the event, it's a solid choice. Cammy vs Guestpix →

BEST FOR: the live photo wall at the reception
Another strong QR web gallery, with live slideshow and photo-wall features that look great projected at the venue. Same trade as Guestpix: web-first and event-priced, with the product ending at the gallery.
5Lense
BEST FOR: disposable-camera simplicity
A clean disposable-camera app with a strong wedding following. Simple premise, well executed. Like most of the category, it's photo-centric and the story ends at the shared roll.

BEST FOR: disposable-style events on a budget
A newer disposable-camera app that's been iterating fast and compares itself honestly against the category — which we respect. Worth a look if you're shopping the reveal-style apps.
7WedUploader
BEST FOR: couples who live in Google Drive
Guest uploads that land straight in your own Google Drive. Unglamorous and effective — you own the storage, you keep the files. You're trading polish and any on-top experience for control.
8Apple Shared Albums
BEST FOR: small, all-iPhone weddings at zero cost
Free and built in. The catches: everyone needs an Apple account, shared-album copies are compressed rather than full-resolution, and nothing about it is wedding-shaped — no QR join, no guest experience, no recap.
9Google Photos shared albums
BEST FOR: free cross-platform sharing among close family
Cross-platform and full quality (within your storage quota), but guests need Google accounts and someone has to shepherd everyone in. Fine for ten people; painful for a hundred and fifty.
10Wedbox
BEST FOR: a long-running, simple wedding album app
One of the veterans of the category — a straightforward shared wedding album app that's been around for years. Less momentum than the newer entrants, but a familiar shape if you just want an album.

How to choose
What is the best wedding photo sharing app?
For most couples in 2026: Cammy, if you want every guest's photos and videos in one live album plus a recap film of the day. Guestpix or Kululu if you want a pure web gallery with no app anywhere. POV if the delayed-reveal disposable-camera ritual is the point. All three approaches work — they just end differently: a film, a gallery, or a reveal.
Do these work for guests who won't install an app?
The good ones do. Cammy, Guestpix, Kululu and WedUploader all accept uploads from a phone's web browser, so guests never have to install anything. Camera-style apps like POV and Lense are more app-centric.
Are wedding photo sharing apps free?
